The Bush Prestige is basically a Bush Amber. A maturing process in oak barrels for a period of between 4 to 6 months replaced its traditional aging in fermentation vats.
A small quantity of sugar and yeast is added to the beer during the bottling process. When the bottles are placed in the hot chamber, this produces a bottle re-fermentation, which creates that natural cloudiness and a quite high alcohol volume of 13%.
The old-fashioned aging in oak barrels, ensures that those who taste it will be sure to discover a unique set of aromas and tannins. These have not been found in beers for centuries and are capable of seducing even the most demanding of palates. The aromas are very similar to those of whiskeys and brandies that have been aged in oak barrels, but with an added fullness.
The strong taste, the rich aromas, not to mention the exclusive bottle and limited edition make the Bush Prestige a truly prestigious beer.
