Information: Bruadar (gallic for ‘Dream’) is the Scots twist on the old English favourite, ‘Sloe Gin’. Our liqueur was developed in 1997, in response to a consumer need for something rather different from the tendency shown by other Scottish liqueur producers to produce somewhat heavy after-dinner style sweet ‘sticky’ liqueurs.

As a unique whisky-based drink, Bruadar is enhanced by the addition of honey and sloe berries. These ingredients impart a wonderful natural sweetness to the liqueur whilst letting the character of the Scottish sloe berries shine through. With an alcoholic strength of only 22%, Bruadar benefits from being lighter than other whisky based liqueurs. This lightness of style lends itself perfectly to the simple pleasures of outdoor life – never more so than the traditional Scottish sporting pursuits of hunting, shooting, fishing, and of course golfing, or simply a good walk out on the hill, down on the beach or on the moor. In fact it goes down rather well anywhere in the open air.
