History:
• 1890 "Hijos de Casimiro Mahou" is founded in Madrid. Engaged in the production of beer and ice, it sets up its first plant on Madrid's Calle Amaniel.
• 1993 Mahou's original beer, from 1890, takes on the name Mahou Clásica, the adjective reflecting its origins and setting it apart from the rest of the range.

Product Design:
• The very essence of the traditional Mahou taste.
• Same product design and purity of process as in 1890.
• Lager style beer, developed over many years at Weihenstephan University, in Germany.
• Low alcohol content product (4.8%).

Tasting Notes / Character:
• Mild, highly refreshing taste, with a slight touch of bitterness.
• Hard to drink just one.
• Low in alcohol.
