Bols Corenwijn Jenever is a Jenever made by Bols in Holland. The exclusive "Corenwyn" is one of those products with a rich history and a loyal following. Translated literally, "Corenwyn" means, quite simply, "grain wine". The term, however, was reserved for the very finest distillations of grain, and to be able to carry the name was indeed an honour.
Bols "Corenwyn" is produced in copper stills and the spirit is aged in oak casks. From these casks the spirit obtains its pale golden colour and its distinctive, mellow taste. Finally the "Corenwyn" is bottled in hand-made stone jars, the original and traditional vessel for this King of Dutch spirits. Not only is it a fine aperitive, cleansing and sharpening the palate, but also an excellent accompaniment to cold dishes (especially sea food).
