History: • 1908 Created in the same period as Mahou Clásica (Pilsen-type beer). Initially devised as the perfect complement to Mahou Clásica in the range of German-style beers.
Product Design: • Central European style product, highly natural without the colorants and additives of an ale-type beer.
• Munich-style beer, characterised by its use of the roasted malt which provides its dark coloration.
• Same alcohol content as any special category beer (5.5%).
Tasting Notes / Character: • Unique aroma achieved through a perfect balance between the roasted malt and the hops. Mild taste but full of body.
Palate / Typical Consumer: • For those who prefer a more European style of beer.
