Erudition: Saisons were originally brewed on the farms in Wallonia, In southern Belgium. They were brewed in the winter for spring consumption. Each farm had their own recipe making each farm's beer different from one another. The same holds true in modern times, no two Saisons ever taste the same from brewer to brewer. Erudition is light in color and body, slightly tart, and is dry making it a very thirst quenching beer. To put a Russian River twist on this Saison, we also added a little Brettanomyces to the brew at the end of fermentation.
