Dark reddish brown and full bodied with a good malt sweetness og and a strong smoke character from a thousand year old Troendelag tradition with kilning of malt over open alder wood fire. This tradition is alive and strong, particularly in and around the town of Stjoerdal, which we find great! Alstadberger is a cooperation based on the Christmas ale recipe from Alstadberg at Skatval. The beer is unfiltered, unpasteurised and bottle fermented. Pour gently if you wish to avoid sediments. Ingredients: Malted barley, dark treacle, sugar, hops and yeast.
