This one is for Nathan’s grandfather, who fell in love with schwarzbier during his duty in WWII Germany. It’s a dark, black lager that drinks much lighter than the color indicates. Pilsner malt lends a honey-like sweetness that has a subtle, coffee-like finish. Don’t let the darkness fool you – it’s a low abv, light sessionable beer.
