WINE CHARACTER
An estate grown wine standing out for its aromatic intensity and complexity, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza, Argentina.
IN THE WINE LIST
Terrazas Reserva wines are hand-harvested from select estate vineyards of Terrazas de los Andes from the top districts of Mendoza, Argentina at the ideal altitude. Grown at 980 metres/3200 feet above sea level in Argentina´s top district for Cabernet Sauvignon, Perdriel, the Terrazas Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon possesses extraordinary structure, persistence and fruit expression.
TASTING AND FOOD PAIRING
* Colour: dark crimson, with bright red highlights.
* Aroma: marked with bursts of plum, cassis and sour cherries. Spicy nose with traces of dry fruit and cedar.
* Palate: round, expansive, highly concentrated and unctuous. Pleasant tannins emerge from layers of fruit to form a persistent finish.
* Best with heavy and spicy meat, Indian food and pesto sauce.
VINEYARDS
A district-specific blend of our top Cabernet vineyards from Perdriel at 980 metres / 3200 feet above sea level. Estate grown (Single Appellation).
VINIFICATION
3-5 weeks of maceration. The free run wine is taken to 100% French oak barrels of which 1/3 are new, 1/3 one year old, 1/3 two years old for twelve months before bottling.
