The Happy Goblin's Strong Ale is made to a similar recipe as the Pale Ale, using the same blend of malts with the addition of a small amount of crystal malt. Only the stronger wort from the first runnings of the mash is used. This results in a stronger malt flavour which is balanced by the addition of more hops to the kettle. This beer typically has an alcohol content of around 6.0%.

Happy Goblin Strong Ale is currently available in limited supply in bottles from selected outlets and also in 18 litre kegs on request.
