Terrazas Reserva wines are hand-harvested from select estate vineyards of Terrazas de los Andes from the top districts of Mendoza, Argentina at the ideal altitude. Grown at 1067 metres/3500 feet above sea level in Argentina´s top district for Malbec, Vistalba, the Terrazas Reserva Malbec features a meaty texture, alluring depth, and balanced acidity.

TASTING AND FOOD PAIRING

* Colour: profound violet-red.
* Aroma: brimming with cherries, dry plums, raisins, and by delicate floral scents of violets and touches of toasted vanilla.
* Palate: very round and well-structured; fleshy with firm tannins. Sumptuous character, robust volume and intense fruit, through the long finish.
* Best with beef and game, or lightly spicy, tomato-based, Latin and fusion food.

VINEYARDS
A district-specific blend of our top Malbec vineyards from Vistalba at 1067 metres / 3500 feet above sea level. Estate grown (Single Appellation), original rootstock Malbec with traditional furrow irrigation.

VINIFICATION
3-5 weeks of maceration. Only the free run wine was moved to 80% French, 20% American oak barrels of which 1/3 are new, 1/3 one year old, 1/3 two years old for twelve months before bottling.
