This mead is made from avocado honey. There are no actual avocado fruit in this varietal. Avocado honey is the byproduct of the honeybees' pollination process, a natural phenomenon that ensures much guacamole in our future!
Our California Avocado Blossom mead is a beer-lover's favorite; It's light, very dry and refreshing, with buttery, nutty flavors reminiscent of a certain American ESB, and a hop-like bite at the finish that suggests a European Pilsner.
Food Pairing: Avocado mead pairs superbly with German sausage, spicy mustard and sauerkraut. Don't forget the pretzels.
